A little more of Altrui’s story
A good while ago I found a set of keys in a public square. They had a nice keychain—the kind someone picks with care. I kept them, asked around and online, but the person who lost them never turned up.
It stayed with me. Not as guilt, but as a feeling: how many people give up on a lost item when just a few steps away someone found it and wants to give it back? All that was missing was a path for them to find each other.
A few years later I found a woolly mammoth plush lying on a busy avenue. That only strengthened my wish to build an app that could help with this.
For the record: I still have that plush and I treasure it—but I would love, with all my heart, to return it to whoever lost it, if this message ever reaches them.
A community platform that connects people who lost something with those who found it. No middlemen, no fuss—just people helping people.
